Engines of Change now has Chat
A private space for subscribers to converse and connect
The system keeps moving faster, and sometimes the stories don’t wait for Sunday. Chat is a new space inside Engines of Change for what happens between the posts. These are quick signals, live reactions, and small conversations that build toward the bigger ones.
If you’re a subscriber, you can join right in. I’ll drop questions, updates, and odd signals from across the media and AI worlds. You can weigh in, challenge ideas, or point to what I might be missing.
How this differs from Notes
Notes are public and open to anyone on Substack. Chat is for subscribers only. It’s faster, more conversational, and unfolds in real time. Notes feel like a bulletin board. Chat feels like a live room.
How to get started
Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat threads won’t be sent sent via email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens. You can also access chat on the web.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for Engines of Change inside.
That’s it! Jump into my thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
Chat threads live in the app, not your inbox, so turn on push notifications if you want to follow the conversation as it happens.
Come say hi, and tell me what you’re seeing move out there.
